Pearland's Kids Fish Festival 2014

My kids and I attended a well planned, well orchestrated, and completely free festival this past weekend. It was hosted by the City of Pearland, and was held from 9-1pm. I just have to say that I loved this festival. It was clean, completely free, and a great outing for kids and parents.
Here is the rundown:
The Pearlnad Kid's Fish Festival is a festival to teach kids and bring an awareness to our little friends in the water "fish". It was hosted at Bass Pro Shop, and the festival provided fishing rods, bait, the pond of fish, and instructions on how to cast your fishing rod to catch the fish.
 The Good:
  • Okay, I know I have said this before, but this festival was completely FREE. Free admission, free parking, and free activities.
  • It was very clean there and maintained out there. They also had family Porta-Potty's and a Porta-Sink out there which was very clean and there was enough out there so much so as there was not a line for it.
  • The volunteers were very friendly and helpful, which is always a positive thing. Everyone seemed happy to be there, and didn't seem burdened by the amount of people asking for questions and assistance, and there were enough volunteers at the signed stations that help was readily available.
  • Lastly I loved the fact that there were signs for everything. You didn't feel confused and you didn't feel exhausted from constantly walking around looking for things.
The Bad:
  • I honestly have nothing bad to say about this festival, I feel that they thought of everything.
  • Okay one thing, my kids didn't catch any fish, but that's not really on the festival, more of on me and my kids.
